The Rice University Center for Career Development is committed to assisting ALL students in finding and making their place in the world, including our Native American/Alaska Native Owls! Career counselors are available by appointment to assist you with a wide array of career planning issues. American Indian College Fund – Career Center: The American Indian College Fund transforms Indian higher education by funding and creating awareness of the unique, community-based accredited tribal colleges and universities, offering students access to knowledge, skills, and cultural values which enhance their communities and the country as a whole.

NAFOA: NAFOA's education work focuses on innovative programs that promote professional development and build the financial and economic skills of the next generation of leaders.

American Indian Science & Engineering Society: AISES is a national, nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, First Nations and other indigenous peoples of North America in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies and careers.

Take advantage of our ‘no appointment needed’ policy with our same day Drop-In service. Our career counselors can help answer your questions with 10-15 minute long appointments from 12-1pm M-F while classes are in session, on a first come, first served basis.
