What is the registration process for the expo?

Employers must register via Handshake here. Once you've completed your registration form, we will send you an invoice for payment. Payment must be made by the provided deadline or your spot at the expo will be released.

How many representatives are we allowed to bring?

We recommend at most 3 representatives to allow space for students to move around without being cramped or overwhelmed. We recommend standing behind or around your table for increased engagement.

How can we add representatives? Will there be an extra charge?

Representatives can be added to your registration in Handshake. You will not be charged for additional representatives, but you will be charged for additional meal tickets and parking passes if requested.

Do we need to purchase extra meal tickets or parking passes?

Regular booths have 2 meal tickets and parking passes and sponsor booths have 6 meal tickets and parking passes. Please add additional tickets or passes to your registration in Handshake and we will invoice you.

If we've completed registration, why are we showing as pending?

Our team has to invoice and approve each employer, so please allow some time as we will do so as soon as possible. However, if you have not paid for your registration we cannot approve your registration.

How does payment work?

Once you've completed registration, we will send you an invoice via Handshake. We accept credit card, check, or money order by mail, and wire transfer. We cannot accept payment over the phone.

I'm unable to pay via credit card in Handshake

Please check the payment selection made during registration. If you selected "Manual" you will not be able to pay via credit card as that selection is for checks, money orders, and wire transfers.

I completed registration but haven't received an invoice

We will send you an invoice via Handshake within 3 - 5 business days. Please check your spam folder or company filters to ensure Handshake has not been blocked and contact ccdexpo@rice.edu if you have not received an invoice.

How can I get shipping and parking information?

All event logistics are sent to the event registrant for your company. Please let us know if you need their name to obtain this information.

How can I request electricity?

You may request access to electricity while registering for the expo. If you did not select electricity with your registration, please email ccdexpo@rice.edu to update your registration, but you must bring your own extension cords.

How can I set up an interview schedule after the expo?

The event is full - how can I get on the waitlist?

Please email ccdexpo@rice.edu to be placed on the waitlist.

We're waitlisted - when will I know if my company can attend?

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a timeframe or deadline for employers on the waitlist. We contact employers as spots become available due to cancellations.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

If you need to cancel your registration, please email ccdexpo@rice.edu

Before January 1 — Full refund minus a 10% cancellation fee

January 2 to January 19 — 75% refund minus a 10% cancellation fee

On and after January 20 — no refund

There are no exceptions to this policy.

When will I receive the resume book?

The resume book will be sent to employers after the expo.
