Programs & Services
Career Counseling
Through individual appointments, drop-ins, and workshops, the CCD assists students with career exploration and development, graduate school planning professional communication, employment research, and job and internship searches.
Interview Preparation
The CCD assists students in preparing for interviews via one-on-one counseling appointments and mock interviews. Video mock interviews can be accessed through SkillsFirst.
Vocational Assessments
The CCD offers a number of assessments that assist students in the postgraduate planning process, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Strong Interest Inventory, and Focus 2.
Workshops
The CCD hosts a variety of workshops each semester in order to aid students in developing essential professional skills. Workshop topics include resumes, interviews, career fair prep, job and internship search, LinkedIn, and more.
Career Connections
Career and internship expos, on-campus interviews, company information sessions, and picnics are held throughout the year and provide opportunities for students and alumni to begin their journey toward finding internships or full-time positions.

The CCD has a multitude of online career guides and resources that can be accessed at any time!

12twenty is the CCD’s job and internship database. Unlike other job search websites, employers who post in 12twenty are looking for Rice students and alumni.
