Career Counseling Services for Alumni
Career counseling services at the Center for Career Development (CCD) cover a wide range of needs, from career change to persuasive interviewing skills to resume and cover letter assistance. Appointments may be conducted in person, via phone, or over Skype. All appointments are scheduled through our online system, 12twenty. Please contact us to create an alumni account. Please note that as an alum, you can also attend CCD events as well as our Career & Internship Expo!
Alumni Within Three Years of Graduation
We provide counseling appointments free of charge to alumni who have graduated within the past three years. Appointments can be scheduled in 12twenty. The CCD also offers personality and career assessments that may help you learn more about yourself and assess fit with potential careers. Your counselor will discuss these assessments during your appointment. If you decide to complete an assessment, the following fees apply:
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - Interpretive Report for Organizations – $35
- Strong Interest Inventory – $10
Please note our procedure for administering assessments. Counselors will conduct one initial session, and then provide you with instructions for completing the assessment(s) online. Then, each assessment requires one interpretation session.
Alumni Past Three Years of Graduation
We provide one counseling appointment free of charge to alumni who graduated more than three years ago. Additional appointments may be scheduled at $85.00 each. Current student appointments take precedence, but the CCD will accommodate the request as soon as there is availability. Appointments can be paid for in cash, check, or credit card. Appointments can be scheduled in 12twenty. The CCD also offers personality and career assessments that may help you learn more about yourself and assess fit with potential careers. Your counselor will discuss these assessments during your appointment. If you decide to complete an assessment, the following fees apply:
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - Interpretive Report for Organizations – $45
- Strong Interest Inventory – $25
