SPRING 2015 CAREER & INTERNSHIP EXPO

February 6 · 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. · Gibbs Rec Center

Meet hundreds of talented Rice students and alumni in one day at our Career & Internship Expo! The Expo is open to all majors and attracts students looking for a wide range of opportunities. We’re pleased to partner with the Career Management Center at the Jones Graduate School of Business, making it easier than ever to recruit ALL Rice students.


REGISTRATION


Registration will open in RICElink on November 3 at 9:00 a.m. (CST). The registration fee is $500 ($300 for non-profit and government organizations). After January 9, registration fees will increase by $500.

PREPARING FOR THE EXPO

Clearly mark all displays and boxes with “Career Expo” and your company name. All materials mailed to this address will be at your booth the morning of the Expo. Due to limited storage space, materials must not arrive before Friday, January 30. In planning your materials, please note that your booth contains one six-foot table and two chairs. All displays must be freestanding and cannot be wider than six feet. Space is limited; please be mindful of your neighbors and keep displays within your booth area.

Due to the layout of the venue, we are unable to guarantee access to electricity for your booth. We strongly encourage you to bring displays that do not require electricity. However, if you have an absolute requirement for electricity, please notify us, and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you have requested electricity, be sure to bring a heavy duty extension cord and duct tape, as these items will not be provided for you.

Review Company Information
The information provided in your registration will be included in the event guidebook. The guidebook will be made available on our website prior to the event, and will also be distributed at the event. Please review your company description in RICElink and make any necessary changes by Friday, January 9.

Secure Hotel Reservations
In planning your visit, please make arrangements that allow for representatives to stay the duration of the event to accommodate all students’ schedules. Don't forget to ask about Rice University discounts when making your reservations. A list of hotels is available on the Rice University website.

Notice of Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please email Jessica Fleenor. All cancellation requests received before December 5 will receive a full refund. All cancellation requests received between December 5, 2014 and January 5, 2015 will receive a 75% refund. All cancellations received after January 5, 2015 will not receive a refund. There are no exceptions to this policy.
