Rice students are eager to learn about your organization. While not an exhaustive list of resources, employers have found the following publications, student groups, and offices useful in coordinating events for students and further establishing their brand on campus.

 

Rice Offices

Academic Departments
Some departments offer online job posting systems and/or may be able to include an announcement on their department’s listserv.

Career Management Center (CMC)
The CMC at the Jones Graduate School of Business works solely with MBA students and provides employers with MBA recruiting opportunities.

Community Involvement Center (CIC)
The Community Involvement Center hosts a Good Works Fair for non-profit employers, and may have other resources available to recruiters.

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (OCFR)
The OCFR advances the academic, research and community outreach goals of Rice University by engaging with corporations and corporate foundations. Contact them to learn how your corporation and Rice can work together towards shared purposes.


Student Leadership

Residential college student leadership
Each undergraduate student is a member of a residential college. The student leadership may be able to include an announcement on their respective college’s email listserv.

Rice Student Association (SA) and Rice Graduate Student Association (GSA)
The leadership may be able to announce your opportunities through email or other method.

The Rice Thresher
This student-run, highly-read weekly newspaper offers various print and classified advertising space.

Student-led professional organizations / clubs
The student leadership may be able to coordinate an on-campus presentation with your representatives, or announce your opportunities through email or other method.
